Green Man, Austin Electric and Lennox Bring Comfort to Local Family Through Feel The Love

AUSTIN, Minn. — Chris and Mandy DeVriendt have a new furnace and central air conditioning system ahead of Minnesota’s winter, thanks to Lennox’s Feel The Love program and the teams at Green Man Heating, Cooling, Electrical & Solar and Austin Electric.

Lennox donated the furnace and air conditioning equipment, while employees from Green Man and Austin Electric donated their time to install the system. Both businesses covered the remaining materials and project costs, including meals for the installation crew. Completed October 6, 2026, the project came at no cost to the DeVriendt family.

Mandy serves as the office manager at Cornerstone Church and is active in the local hockey and baseball communities. Her work and involvement have given her many opportunities to support others. Through Feel The Love, the Green Man and Austin Electric teams had an opportunity to give back to her family.

The DeVriendts previously relied on window air conditioners to cool their home. Their new system provides central air conditioning along with a new furnace to keep their home comfortable through the changing seasons.

Feel The Love connects participating Lennox dealers with individuals and families in their communities who need heating and cooling equipment. For Green Man and Austin Electric, the project was a chance to put their teams’ skills to work helping neighbors.
